The 2019 CIOF First General Membership Meeting, scheduled on March 28, 2019 at the Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria, features the theme: “Public Finance Management for eGovernance”.
The event will highlight two important things:
First, the conference proper will present updates on the BTMS pilot by DBM and participating agencies like DPWH, DEPED, and Bureau of the Treasury with an overview on the importance of Enterprise Architecture planning and implementation in government’s ICT initiatives. We expect member CIOs to gain useful tips from DBM’s insights as BTMS project overseer and from the experiences of the pilot agencies. This is preparation for DBM plans to roll out BTMS throughout the executive branch soon. For wider benefits, our CIOs are requested to bring along their technical understudy, especially those from the BTMS pilot agencies.
Second, elections for the new set of nine (9) CIOF Board of Trustees for 2019-2021, will be supervised by the Election Committee organized by the CIOF Foundation Inc., including an online nomination form for early nominations.
