The DICT, CIOF, and the CIOFF conducted a two-day annual NICT Summit on October 26-27, 2022. Traditionally it is held in June every year but a re-scheduled was necessary due to various government activities during the second quarter of 2022 including the holding of the 2022 Philippine general elections.

The National ICT Summit 2022 brought together government and other key stakeholders in the ICT sector to commit and help drive the digital transformation clearly and emphatically defined in the President SONA: to transform government into an agile bureaucracy, promote greater transparency and accountability, improve delivery of health care, education, and other services, and ultimately improve the lives of its countrymen!
The NICT Summit 2022 was a hybrid event. Participants joined the event either via an online platform or in-person at The Manila Hotel.

The highlight of this momentous event is the presence of the newly elected PBBM, the new DICT Secretary, and key government officials of DICT, Cabinet, and Legislative official representatives. This will further give life and strength to our resolve to realize your vision of a digitally transformed and digitally empowered citizenry at the soonest possible time!

The NICT 2022 Summit theme: “Toward a Citizen-Centric, Inclusive, and Sustainable eGovernance Ecosystem #BuildBetterMore”, the Summit focused on the government’s digital transformation efforts in pursuance of the President’s vision of an inclusive and vibrant digital economy and a digitally empowered government and citizenry.
